At Cargo-solv.com we realise that your shipments carbon footprint will vary depending on the mode of transport it travels on. In order to show this we use our carbon calculator to represent in kg the amount of carbon dioxide that would be emitted if shipped by Rail, Sea, Road or Air.

In doing so we allow you the option to accept a quote based not only on lead time and price of shipment, but also on environmental footprint.

Environmental performance of the carrier

At Cargo-solv.com we want to offer you the most comparable quotes possible.

Some services provided by Freight Service Providers (such as freight forwarders) are resold and the Freight Service Providers are not in control of the CO2 output. We have therefore provided a second measure based on the environmental practices Freight Service Providers have implemented that are within their control.

Each freight provider is measured against a criteria and allocated an environmental score. The percentage of the bar that appears green is proportional to the level of sustainability of company practices.
